科技报作为我国重要的科普宣传阵地,是不可再生的科普资源,伴随着新中国的成立已经走过了半个世纪,是改革开放以来最先崛起的报纸。然而,自上世纪90年代以来,全国各地的科技报因受都市类报纸迅速发展、电视媒体大行其道、网络媒体方兴未艾的影响,科技报原有的读者群不断被分化,固有领地逐步缩小,科技报的生存环境和发展空间都受到了很大的影响和制约。
