With the development of China’s transport industry, various types of motor vehicles have risen sharply. Due to the backward transportation infrastructure in our country and the lack of advanced technology and equipment, various kinds of traffic accidents often happen. The reason is mostly caused by driving fast. Therefore, how to monitor vehicles for speeding has become an urgent issue. The LD-1 pistol-type miniature speed radar researched and developed by the Highway Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Communications has provided scientific technical equipment for the traffic management department to monitor the speed of vehicles.
