大连建材厂用碱性鋼渣(转炉)、石灰石和少量石膏及水泥制成了一种钢渣水泥瓦。这种瓦的抗冻、抗渗水性以及抗折强度均符合要求。生产这种瓦每万片可比水泥瓦节省水泥4.5～4.9吨。鋼渣为炼鋼工业的废料,出炉后在空气中冷却,自然粉化为结晶良好的微粒,顏色有白、粉紅、黑色等数种。經試驗証实,白色的鋼渣胶凝性最好,其化学成分和有关物理性能如表1和表2所示。
Dalian Building Materials Factory made a steel slag cement tile with alkaline steel slag (converter), limestone and a small amount of gypsum and cement. The frost resistance, water permeability resistance and flexural strength of this tile all meet the requirements. The production of such tiles with tens of thousands of comparable cement tiles saves 4.5 to 4.9 tons of cement. Steel slag is waste from the steelmaking industry. It is cooled in the air after being baked and naturally pulverized into crystallized fine particles. The colors are white, pink, and black. Tests have shown that the white steel slag has the best gelling properties. Its chemical composition and related physical properties are shown in Table 1 and Table 2.
