淋病是当前主要的性病之一。据美国1983年统计,淋病与梅毒之比为28:1。英国统计,淋病占门诊病人的125/10万,仅次于非淋菌性尿道炎(181/10万)居性病第二位。国内沿海开放城市如深圳、广州、上海等地的性病,淋病也占大多数。此外,淋病与非淋菌性尿道炎,两者同是性病,但病原不同,疗法各异,没仔细鉴别。 1986年10月,中国性病防治研究中心在南京举办全国性病防治研讨讲习班。现根据讲习班有关内容,结合现有资料和工作体会,就淋菌的直接涂片和常规培养作一简要介绍。一、取材用于培养的标本尤应注意
