中美首轮全面经济对话于7月19日在美国华盛顿举行。中方外交发言人表示,双方在对话期间就中美贸易投资、经济合作“百日计划”和“一年计划”、全球经济和治理、宏观经济政策和金融业、农业等议题进行了深入讨论,达成广泛共识;而美方则取消了原有的联合记者招待会,发布的内容重在重申削减贸易赤字。
The first round of comprehensive economic dialogue between China and the United States was held in Washington, United States, on July 19. The Chinese diplomatic spokesperson stated that during the dialogue, the two sides conducted discussions on Sino-U.S. trade and investment, economic cooperation, “hundred-day plans” and “one-year plans,” global economic and governance, macroeconomic policies, and the financial industry and agriculture. In-depth discussions and broad consensus reached; while the United States cancelled the original joint press conference, the focus of the announcement reiterated the reduction of trade deficits.
