目的:探讨固齿膏对PGE_2的抑制作用和固齿膏治疗牙周炎作用机理。方法:用丝线缝扎和高糖食料喂养豚鼠形成实验性牙周炎,用固齿膏抑制牙周炎形成并与消炎痛对照,同时用放射免疫测定法(RIA)分析牙周炎形成中牙龈和牙槽骨中前列腺素E_2(PGE_2)变化。结果:消炎痛组牙龈组织中PGE_2(683.43±87.54)和牙槽骨中的PGE_2(249.94±51.71)均明显低于牙周炎组(P<0.01);固齿膏组牙龈组织中的PGE_2(625.61±222.83)和牙槽骨中PGE_2(194.63±35.71)明显低于对应的牙周炎组(P<0.01),且该组牙槽骨中PGE_2量与正常对照组无显著性差异。说明固齿膏对牙龈和牙槽骨中PGE_1均有明显的抑制作用,且对牙槽骨中PGE_2的抑制作用更强。结论:固齿膏通过抑制PGE_2合成而抑制牙周炎的发生和发展,对牙周炎起治疗作用。
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the inhibitory effect of solid toothpaste on PGE_2 and mechanism of periodontitis treated with solid toothpaste. Methods: Guinea pigs were fed with silk suture and high-sugar diet to form experimental periodontitis. The periodontitis was inhibited by the solid toothpaste and compared with indomethacin. Meanwhile, the periodontitis was evaluated by radioimmunoassay (RIA) And alveolar bone prostaglandin E_2 (PGE_2) changes. Results: PGE_2 (683.43 ± 87.54) and PGE_2 (249.94 ± 51.71) in alveolar bone in indomethacin group were significantly lower than those in periodontitis group (P <0.01). PGE_2 625.61 ± 222.83), and PGE_2 (194.63 ± 35.71) in alveolar bone were significantly lower than those in the corresponding periodontitis group (P <0.01). There was no significant difference in the amount of PGE_2 between alveolar bone and normal control group. The results showed that the solid toothpaste had a significant inhibitory effect on PGE_1 in the gingival and alveolar bone and had a stronger inhibitory effect on the PGE_2 in the alveolar bone. Conclusion: GuTaoTao inhibits the occurrence and development of periodontitis by inhibiting the synthesis of PGE_2, and plays a therapeutic role in periodontitis.
