在五届人大四次会议和政协五届四次会议期间,教育部负责同志于十二月七日、十一日、十四日先后同人大代表、政协委员中的部分教育工作者举行座谈,听取他们对教育工作的意见。教育部部长蒋南翔主持了座谈会。代表和委员们就高等教育、普通教育、成人教育、学前教育等方面,广泛地发表了意见。现将其中有关中小学教育的部分发言内容,按座谈时间和发言顺序,摘登如下。
