电子音乐制作技术的发展,在音乐音响方面给了作曲者无尽的新空间,然而这种新的自由也使许多作曲者在随意创造音响的同时忘记了音乐必须以听觉审美为前提。电子音乐技术的滥用不仅可以破坏传统音乐的语言,也会使那些混合了电子音色与传统声学乐器音色的作品丧失宝贵的宏观结构和音响推动力。通过对三部在避免此问题方面做得较好的混合类电子音乐作品的分析可知,讲求电子音乐与传统音色之间的“融合”在音乐作品的横向运动关系中是尤为必要的,且可以总结出指导性的技术理论,力争让“融合”在听觉层面和内容情感层面都能实现。
