编者按为更新我国机械制造业专业技术人员知识、技能结构,解决当前制造业人才队伍建设中存在的问题,应对“入世”所带来的各种挑战和机遇,自2001年6月起,经中国科协学会部批准,中国机械工程学会组织有关专家、教授和业内资深人士组成课题组,对“我国加入WTO后机械制造业专业技术人员知识更新对策”进行了深入的调查、研究,并在对30多家重点企业进行抽样调查,发出3000份知识更新需求情况问卷的基础上,形成研究报告,该报告数据准确、内容翔实、客观、建议具体、系统、实际。应本刊诚邀,该课题组将其中部分研究成果撰成此文,本刊特将其刊发,以飨读者。
