2003年12月,丰台区洋桥北里社区的党委书记、副书记顶风冒寒骑车穿越几个城区,给北京支部生活杂志社送来一面锦旗,上绣:“ 社区党员之友宣传党建先锋”。接过这面锦旗,我们这些办刊人心里烧起了一把火。一个基层党组织为什么给北京支部生活杂志社送锦旗?来送锦旗的马书记说得明白:2003年一整年,我们每月都收到杂志社赠给社区党委的400册刊物,使社区党建多了一个抓手。马书记说:“因为有了这400册《北京支部生活》,去年我们社区党建工作是最活跃的一年,也是收获最大的一年。”赠刊为什么这么受欢迎?因为它着实解决了社区党委面临的困难——

Ma Shuji said: “Because of these 400 volumes of” Beijing Branch Life, “last year’s party construction in our community was the most active year and the biggest year for harvest.” Why is the publication so popular? Because it really solved Community Party Committee faces difficulties -
