一、旧学体用观的提出作为中国哲学史上的“体用”范畴,原本是用来说明事物的本体、基础及其演发、显现以及作用关系的一对范畴。晚清的体用观,则是在西学东渐的态势下,不同心态的人们用传统的“体”“用”范畴对中学与西学关系的某种根本措置。它体现了措置者在日益深重的民族危机中,对民族前景的忧患、焦虑、图谋和希冀。这措置在中学与西学碰撞引起的最初回应中,在民族精神
First, the concept of the old school idea put forward as the “body” category in the history of Chinese philosophy, was originally used to illustrate the noumenon, the foundation of things, and its development, appearance and role of a relationship. In the late Qing Dynasty, the concept of physical use was a fundamental solution to the relationship between middle school and western learning with the traditional “body” and “use” categories of people with different mentality under the trend of gradual development of Western learning. It shows the worries, anxieties, schemes and hopes of the disposers in the increasingly deep national crisis regarding the prospects for the nation.
