引言研究动物热能代谢,是动物生态学中的一个重要课题。气体代谢是动物热能代谢的一种形式。动物的一系列活动所需的能量,是由物质氧化过程中获得的。因此,它们必须不断地从外界摄取 O_2,排出 CO_2。动物的氧气消耗量是与其种族、生理状况、生活环境及季节性周期有关。因此,通常以测定动物的耗 O_2 量来揭示其生态生理特征及其规律。耗 O_2 量,常作为动物产热与失热的一种简接指标;测定动物的耗 O_2 量,比直接测定动物的热能代谢率更简便,因而更广泛地被使用。
Introduction Research on animal heat metabolism is an important topic in animal ecology. Gas metabolism is a form of animal heat metabolism. The energy required for a series of animal activities is obtained through the oxidation of the material. Therefore, they must continue to ingest O_2 from the outside world and discharge CO_2. The animal’s oxygen consumption depends on its race, physiology, living environment and seasonal cycle. Therefore, it is usually to determine the consumption of O_2 animals to reveal its eco-physiological characteristics and its laws. Consumption of O_2 is often used as a simple indicator of heat production and loss of heat in animals. O_2 consumption of animals is more widely used than direct measurement of heat energy metabolism rate in animals.
