台湾长荣海运公司的运输用箱与其船舶箱位之比一般是1.9:1,只有少数情况下到过2.5:1,这是国际航运界在集装箱管理方面所取得的最卓越的成就。 长荣公司自有箱达25万TEU之多,租用箱只5万TEU,仅占20％,同马士基、海陆等大型航运公司相比,这个比例是很低的。长荣还管理着子公司立荣海运公司的集装箱。
Taiwan Evergreen Marine’s shipping container and its shipping box ratio is generally 1.9: 1, in only a few cases to 2.5: 1, which is the international shipping industry’s most outstanding achievements in container management. Evergreen has a total capacity of 250,000 TEUs and a rental capacity of only 50,000 TEUs, accounting for only 20% of the total. Compared with large shipping companies such as Maersk, Land and Sea, this percentage is very low. Evergreen also manages the container of the subsidiary Li-Rong Shipping Company.
