荔枝是亚热带名果,但荔枝种子发育时不经历成熟脱水,在贮藏过程中对干燥和低温敏感,只有几天的生活力,其种质资源的保存非常困难,是典型的顽拗性种子.关于种子顽拗性的生理机制,一些研究者认为这类种子成熟脱落前后已经不同程度的萌发,因而不耐脱水.这种反应如同正常性种子发育至一定阶段吸水萌发一样.本文以荔枝种子为材料,研究它们萌发时的吸水动态、自由水和束缚水含量及胚轴细胞超微结构的变化,以探索荔枝种子容易萌发的特性及代谢水平.
Litchi is a subtropical fruit, but the litchi seed does not undergo mature dehydration when it develops, is sensitive to dryness and low temperature during storage, and has only a few days of viability. Its germplasm resources are very difficult to preserve and are typical recalcitrant seeds. With regard to the recalcitrant physiological mechanism of seeds, some researchers think that this kind of seeds germinate to some extent before and after their mature exfoliation, and therefore they are not resistant to dehydration, which is similar to the germination of normal seeds until they germinate to some extent.In this paper, Materials, dynamic changes of water absorption, free water and irreducible water content and the ultrastructure of hypocotyls in their germination were studied in order to explore the characteristics and metabolism of litchi seeds easy to germinate.
