桉树是桃金孃科植物,原产澳洲,现在亚热带及温带地区都已大量引种造株。引入我国已约有七十年的历史,但本省过去只有少量种植。自1955年以后,我省开始较大规模的引种试种,杭州、平阳、瑞安、永嘉、乐清、温岭、黄岩、丽水、象山、奉化等县(市)向福建、广东、广西、四川等省引入大叶桉、赤桉、兰桉、细叶桉、柠檬桉、窿缘桉等数十个品种。四、五年来的引种实践证明,有不少桉树品种不仅在本省能安全过冬,而且生长异常迅速,很多地区3—4年的
