阳城县是全国食管癌高发地区之一。次营公社又是全县食管癌发病较多的一个公社。遵照毛主席“预防为主”和“把医疗卫生工作的重点放到农村去”的伟大教导,为进一步开展农村肿瘤的防治工作,我们医疗队一行11人,于1973年11月18日来到阳城县次营公社。在当地党委和肿瘤医院党总支的领导下,上批医疗队共普查拉网8个大队1,302人,发现食管(贲门)癌18例。在此基础上,我们又深入该公社其余19个大队,
Yangcheng County is one of the high incidence of esophageal cancer in the country. The second camp is the county commune more incidence of esophageal cancer in a commune.
