辛亥革命时期 ,湖北革命志士积极投身于军队的改造 ,他们通过散发书刊、开演讲会、个别谈心等途径宣传资产阶级革命理论 ;通过组织团体、编排营队、严格纪律等方法团结新军。经过他们的艰辛努力 ,湖北新军被改造成为资产阶级的革命力量 ,为辛亥革命在湖北首义创造了主观条件
During the Revolution of 1911, Hubei revolutionary martyrs actively devoted themselves to the transformation of the armed forces. They propagated the revolutionary theory of the bourgeois revolution through such means as distributing books and magazines, conducting lectures and making individual dialogues. They united the new army by organizing groups, arranging camp battalions, and strictly disciplining such methods. After their arduous efforts, the new army in Hubei was transformed into a revolutionary force of the bourgeoisie, creating the subjective conditions for the 1911 Revolution in Hubei.
