在经过似乎没完没了的等待后,谷歌终于在英国发布了Chromecast。有了这款售价30英镑的媒体流设备,你就可以将任何电视变成“智能电视”——只要电视上有一个闲置的HDMI输入接口和无线网络。这款低成本产品显然是瞄着苹果电视(Apple TV)来的,其目的是让你可以使用智能手机、平板电脑、个人电脑或笔记本电脑,播放媒体流。你可以观看You Tube视频、Netflix、Vevo及其他服务,可惜发布当天,只有BBC iPlayer可以支持Chromecast的回看电视服务。
After a seemingly endless wait, Google finally released a Chromecast in the UK. With this £ 30 media streaming device, you can turn any TV into a “smart TV” - as long as you have an idle HDMI input and wireless network on your TV. This low-cost product is apparently aimed at Apple TV for the purpose of allowing you to play media streams on your smartphone, tablet, PC or laptop. You can watch You Tube videos, Netflix, Vevo and other services, but unfortunately only the BBC iPlayer on the day of release supports Chromecast’s back-to-back TV service.
