Oxygen isotope relationships in gold-bearing chemical sedimentary rocks The basic problems associated with gold-rich chemical sedimentary rocks are the source and temperature of the mineralized hydrothermal fluids and the range of equilibrium with the hydrosphere upon discharge of the fluid. In order to solve these problems, the oxygen isotopic composition of some chert chests (SiO> 90%) in the gold-bearing chemical sedimentary rocks of some Archean gold deposits and in the main surrounding rocks was determined. Therefore, first of all, a suitable outline of the δ 18 O parameters of marine flint should be determined and the results will be discussed here.
