The branches and business management departments of the People’s Bank of China and the non-bank financial institutions under the direct supervision of the head offices of the People’s Bank of China in all countries: the Circular of the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation on Reducing the Business Tax on Financial and Insurance Industries (Cai Shui [2001] No. 21) forwarded to you. All branches and business management departments of the People’s Bank of China are required to forward this item to all sub-branches of the district and commercial banks, urban credit cooperatives, rural credit cooperatives, trust and investment companies, finance companies and leasing companies in their jurisdictions.
