经中国英语教学研究会同意,浙江省外文学会与杭州大学外语系于1992年10月23日至25日联合举办了全国第二次话语分析研讨会。来自北京、上海、天津、广东、四川、黑龙江等16个省市的35所高校60余位代表参加了研讨会。会议共收到43篇论文。澳大利亚悉尼大学的著名语言学家Christian Matthiessen专程来杭出席了会议。著名语言学家韩礼德、哈桑、弗理斯、马丁等向这次研讨会表示热烈的祝贺。外语系马博森、桂林、肖群、陈姝波也向研讨会提交了论文。
With the agreement of the China English Teaching Research Association, the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Foreign Languages and the Department of Foreign Languages of Hangzhou University jointly held the second seminar on discourse analysis in China from October 23 to 25, 1992. More than 60 representatives from 35 universities and colleges in 16 provinces and municipalities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong, Sichuan and Heilongjiang attended the seminar. A total of 43 papers were received at the conference. Christian Matthiessen, a famous linguist at the University of Sydney in Australia, made a special trip to Hangzhou to attend the conference. Well-known linguists Halliday, Hassan, Friesian, Martin and others extended warm congratulations to the seminar. Foreign languages Maben Sen, Guilin, Xiao Qun, Chen Shu Bo also submitted a paper to the seminar.
