《小王子》走上银幕电影《小王子》同名原著诞生70年以来,成了法语文学中译本最多(250多种语言)、销量最高(两亿多册)的作品。法国人热爱这部童话,将作者圣埃克苏佩里看作民族英雄,在他逝世50周年之际,将其肖像和笔下的小王子印在了50法郎面额的钞票上。如此高人气的IP,《小王子》自然被改编不断,曾以电视剧、音乐剧、歌剧、芭蕾舞剧、连环画等30多种艺术形式呈现。1943年《小王子》甫一出版,拍过《公民凯恩》的大导演奥森·威尔斯就考虑与迪士尼合作翻拍,他投入了大量精力筹备剧本,不过计划最后因各种原因搁浅了。

On the fiftieth anniversary of his death, the portrait and the little prince were printed on 50-denom denominated banknotes. So high popularity of IP, “Little Prince” naturally adapted continuously, once in TV series, musicals, opera, ballet, comics and other 30 kinds of art forms presented. In 1943, “Little Prince” was published as the director of “Citizen Kane,” and Orson Welles considered remaking with Disney. He devoted a great deal of effort to preparing the script, but the plan finally ran aground for various reasons .
