唐·德里罗是当代美国最具代表性的后现代派小说家之一。长篇小说《坠落的人》于2007年出版,该书被《纽约时报》评为2007年度最佳图书,同时被《新闻周刊》等十余家美国主流媒体评为年度最佳图书。《坠落的人》(Falling Man)被评论界评为“9.11”小说定义之作。小说《坠落的人》中,德里罗用复杂且睿智的语言将“9.11”这个宏大的历史性事件在个人的层面上形象的展示出来,精确地刻画出“9.11”事件之后的岁月中纽约人身上体现出的心理、与情感上的创伤。本文将拉康精神分析中的“创伤”概念引入到对小说中的主人公基思和他的妻子丽昂等人物心理创伤的分析中来,对他们由于创伤性事件所带来的痛苦和折磨进行深入的探讨。
Don DeLillo is one of the most representative postmodern novelists in the United States. The novel The Crashed Man, published in 2007, was named Best Book of the Year by the New York Times in 2007 and ranked as the Book of the Year by more than a dozen U.S. mainstream media, including Newsweek. Falling Man was rated by critics as the definition of the novel “9.11 ”. In the novel The Crashed Man, Delilo uses a complex and intelligent language to present the image of “9.11” as a grand historic event on an individual level to accurately depict the “9.11” incident New Yorkers in the years reflect the psychological and emotional trauma. This paper introduces the concept of “trauma” in Lacanian psychoanalysis into the analysis of psychological trauma of character Keith and his wife Leon, and their pains caused by traumatic events and Torture in-depth discussion.
