“中国客家围屋之乡”江西省龙南县有一片参天古木,枝叶繁茂,遮天盖地,根脉纵横。这片古树位于龙南县程龙镇杨梅村河湾,距县城20公里,与赣江二级支流桃江河枕河相邻,属天然原始林,面积2公顷,古树数量达66棵之多。树种有苦槠栲、椤木石楠、枫香、黄檀、楠木、桂花、木荷、朴树、创花楠、樟叶槭等,其中苦槠栲56棵,其他树种10棵。经当地林业专家考证,树龄600年的有29棵,800年的有19棵,千年的有18棵,杨梅千年古树群因而得名。

Textual research by local forestry experts, there are 29 trees in 600 years, 19 in 800 years, 18 in the millennium, hence the name of Millenia old tree.
