文艺社会学是80年代才受到国内学术界普遍关注的一门新兴学科,十多年来已经涌现出一批研究成果,如李泽厚的《美学的对象和范围》,吴慧、李平的《文艺社会学》;刘崇顺等人的《文艺社会学概说》、司马云杰的《文艺社会学论稿》、滕守尧的《艺术社会学描述》、花建、于沛的《文艺社会学》等。从1988年以来,这门年轻的学科进一步向纵深发展,出现了许多分支学科和专题的研究,如《小说社会学初探》(徐启华)、《电影社会学初探》
Literary sociology was a new subject which was generally noticed by domestic academic circles only in the 1980s. A series of research results have emerged over the past decade. For example, Li Zehou’s Aesthetic Objects and Scope, Wu Hui and Li Ping’s “ Sociology ”; Liu Chongshun et al.“ Outline of Literary Sociology ”, Sima Yunjie’s“ Theory of Literary Sociology ”, Teng Shouyao’s“ Sociology of Art Description ”, Hua Jian, Yu Pei’s“ Literary Sociology ”and so on. Since 1988, this young discipline has been further developed in depth. A number of branch and topic studies have emerged, such as “A Preliminary Study of Sociology of the Fiction” (Xu QIHUA), “A Preliminary Study of Sociology of Cinema”
