On December 27, 2013, the Archeology Forum, hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and hosted by the Institute of Archeology and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, was held in Beijing. The Forum selected six major new archaeological discoveries in 2013 - the Xichengyi Site of Zhangye in Gansu Province, the Zeng State Cemetery in the east of Wenfeng Tower in Hubei Province, the Cemetery of Qin Shi Huang Emperor in Xi’an, the Shangguan Han Tomb in Tianhui Town of Chengdu and the Weiqiao Site in Xi’an , Yangzhou, Jiangsu emperor tomb. Xichengyi Site in Zhangye, Gansu is the site of a settlement dating back to the Smelting and the Early Metallurgical Period from the Late Caves culture to the Late Qing Dynasty found in the middle reaches of the Heihe River Basin
