In late October 2008, Beijing Television Station launched a large-scale musical chronicle commemorating the 30th anniversary of the reform and opening-up, including “Youth, Life,” “Hometown,” “Love,” “Friendship,” “Heroes,” “ Love Story ”,“ Struggle ”,“ Childhood ”,“ Film and Television ”and“ Motherland ”. Each episode is 2 episodes each with 45 minutes in length for a total of 24 episodes with a total duration of 1080 minutes.
