《材料导报》创刊于1987年,迄今已十余年了。十几年来,《导报》为我国材料科学技术的发展作出了积极贡献,但是作为《导报》,发挥作用不够大,亦即对我国材料科学技术的导向作用不显著。在国家科学技术部高新技术司材料处马燕合博士的倡议下,联合国防科工委科技与质量司、国家自然科学基金委员会工程与材料科学部、中国科学院技术科学部、中国工程院化工冶金与材料工程学部,会同原主办单位科技部高新技术司、中国材料研究学会共同主办这一刊物,力图把《材料导报》办好。编辑部仍设在原所在地科技部西南信息中心(重庆)。为了加强和全国科技界,特别是和科技部及其他政策制定部门的联系,在北京增设了一个编辑分部,并对编委会进行了改组。为了报道及时,将本刊由双月刊改为月刊。
“Material Guide” was first published in 1987, so far more than ten years. For more than a decade, Herald has made positive contributions to the development of material science and technology in our country. However, as a guide, it has not played a significant role in guiding the development of China’s material science and technology. At the initiative of Dr. Ma Yanhe, Material Department, High-tech Division, Ministry of Science and Technology, UN Science and Technology Commission of Science and Technology and Quality Division, NSFC’s Department of Engineering and Materials Science, Chinese Academy of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Engineering Chemical Metallurgy and Materials Engineering The Department, jointly organized by the High-tech Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Chinese Society for Materials Research, will organize this publication in an effort to get the Materials Herald well. The editorial department is still located in the former Ministry of Science and Technology Southwest Information Center (Chongqing). In order to strengthen its ties with the scientific and technological community in the country, especially with the Ministry of Science and Technology and other policy-making departments, an editorial office was established in Beijing and the Editorial Board was reorganized. In order to report in a timely manner, the magazine will be changed from bi-monthly to monthly.
