绿豆象又名豆牛、豆猴、铁嘴,属鞘翅目豆象科,在贮粮仓和田间均能繁殖为害,是绿豆贮藏期的主要害虫。它常将籽粒蛀食一空,丧失发芽能力,甚至不能食用。一、发生规律绿豆象一年可发生4～6代,幼虫在豆粒内越冬,次年春天羽化为成虫。成虫善飞,有假死性、群居性,在贮粮仓内产卵于豆粒上,经15～20天变为成虫。绿豆象完成一生活世代需24～45天,在25～30℃、相对湿度80%左右,发育最快。
