古人云:“政者,正也。”为政之道,贵在一身正气,廉洁自律,勤政为民。本期选编这组《廉洁自律佳话》,充分说明共产党人不愧为廉洁自律、勤政为民的楷模。今天,我们各级领导干部更应继承和发扬党的全心全意为人民服务的优良传统,严格党性锻炼和自我修养,做到自重、自省、自警、自励,以保持坚定的政治信念,旺盛的革命精神和清正廉洁的良好形象——这正是在新的历史条件下党和人民对国家公仆的期盼和要求。在国务院最近召开的第四次反腐败工作会议上,中央领导同志再次强调:加强勤政廉政建设,开展反腐败斗争,是关系我国现代化事业成败的一件大事,也是国家政权建设的一项基本任务。为此,我们必须从党和国家兴衰存亡的高度来认识惩治腐败、保持廉洁的重要性,在各级领导干部中间形成讲学习,讲政治,讲正气的浓厚空气。

To this end, we must recognize the importance of punishing corruption and maintaining integrity from the perspective of the rise and fall of our party and our country and create a strong atmosphere of learning, politics and upright righteousness among leading cadres at all levels.
