研究了电火花线切割加工中出现断丝时的先兆特征，提出了独特的判别指标．在此基础上应用神经网络理论中的遗传－ＢＰ算法来预报非正常断丝的出现，并用加工过程中采集到的数据对系统进行了验证．
The precursory characteristics of wire breakage in WEDM are studied and a unique discriminant index is proposed. On this basis, the application of genetic-BP algorithm in neural network theory to predict the occurrence of abnormal broken wires, and the data collected during the processing of the system was verified.
