按照美国保健机构评审联合委员会的分类,(JCAHO,Joint Commissionon Accreditation of HealthcareOrganization)美国医疗保险可分六大类:医疗费用保险、一般费用保险、外科手术保险、巨额医疗费用保险、丧失劳动能力补偿保险、口腔医疗保险。这些医疗保险主要是通过联邦政府、州政府和私人保险机构等医疗保险组织来分项提供。
According to the JCAHO (Joint Commissionon Accreditation of Healthcare Organization), the United States can be divided into six categories of medical insurance: medical expenses insurance, general expenses insurance, surgical insurance, huge medical expenses insurance, incapacity compensation insurance , Dental insurance.
