地处湘南的资兴市,是湖南省历年来制种的高产单位之一。该市温光条件好,气候宜人,搞杂交稻制种有着得天独厚的优势。该市的州门司乡黄旗洞村蒋家组农民何月生的1.7亩“技优99”夏季制种获得特大丰收。今年8月7日,由郴州地区科委主持,邀请省种子公司,湖南杂交水稻研究中心,郴州地区及资兴市农业局等单位的专家、学者进行了现场考察和验收。经取样考察,每亩有效穗28.69万,每穗总粒数99.24粒,
