介绍了视频点播系统的基本概念，分析了一般的企业VOD系统的应用需求，讨论了网络视频应用的若干关键技术问题，结合开发实际提出了一个基于数据库的IntranetWeb应用的视频点播系统的整体设计方案。
This paper introduces the basic concept of video on demand system, analyzes the application requirements of general enterprise VOD system, discusses some key technical problems of network video application, and puts forward the overall design scheme of video on demand system based on database IntranetWeb application .
