An aberrant nature in nature is called semi-conformation, which gives scientists accelerated access to cotton pure lines. Semi-conformation is a type of plant reproductive abnormalities, although sperm cells into the egg cells, but no fusion or “mating.” Male and female egg nuclei, which contain all genetic material, are split independently to form seeds of chimeric tissue with only male or female nuclei, which replaces the seeds formed by normal fusions. Thus, a plant grown from a chimeric seed composed of this male or female cell is haploid and it carries only the genetic material of the original parent.
