燕麦草是我州山区的恶性杂草,危害逐年加重,据全州八个县、十九个公社的不完全统一计,今年发生面积61.3万亩,其中每亩40万株以上的田块占16.7万亩,每亩20—30万株以上的田块占24.5万亩,每亩20万株以下的占16.4万亩。燕麦根系发达,吸肥力强,据估算全州,每年被燕麦草吃掉的氮肥约有2500吨。据调查一亩麦田有燕麦草10万株以上者减产100斤右右,从七五年以来,全州每年损失小麦2000万斤以上,七九年损失小麦约2800万斤。
Oats grass is a malignant weed in mountainous areas of my country, and the harm is increasing year by year.
