在影视中,“意象”由“象”和“意”两个核心因素构成。意象创造的主旨在于“立象以尽意”。闽南文化上承中原、吴越文化,具有一体多元的特征,在国内外的民族文化中流光溢彩。植根其中的闽南意象,是闽南文化具象化的影视表现,以“闽南”之象,言画外之意。闽南意象被更多地与“寻根”语境的身份认同及富有地域特色的乡土情结相联系,成为创作者有心经营的思想载体,洋溢着独特的古今碰撞、民族与现代融合的文化张力。其诉情无声对两岸情怀的抒发感,寓情于景对乡土情结的描述性以及点缀其间演绎民族奇观的功能性,正可以成为闽南意象在闽台题材影视剧中构建气韵生动图景的关键所在。
