地球人口在不断膨胀,地球资源却不能增长。 自古以来,人类以木柴为燃料,但树木的生长经不起加速的砍伐。 石油、天然气储量有限,不久便会枯竭。 核能吗:很好,但一旦出现差错,人类便有劫难。利用核能的投资,也远远超出地区经济的承受能力。 只有煤是人类最丰富最廉价的燃料,已探明的储量足够人类使用两千多年,而其单位热值成本却只有石油、天然气的1/2~1/3。 但是,煤炭的利用也因为其污染严重,热效率低,使用不便等致命缺点而使其在能源消费构成中的比例自60年代起急转直下。 那么,有没有一条经济有效的技术途径,把煤炭转化成清洁、高效、方便的燃料呢?
