龙羊峡水电站枢纽建筑物由拦河坝、电站厂房及泄水建筑物等组成。主坝为混凝土重力拱坝,混凝土量156.71万立米。最大坝高178米,底宽80米。主坝前沿长396米,共分18个坝段。各坝段间除个别横缝外,均沿半径方向设置施工缝。为适应混凝土温控要求和浇筑能力,同时考虑到施工进度要求,简便施工,设置了三条纵缝。待坝体混凝土温度降至稳定温度,需对纵横缝进行灌浆,将坝体联成整体。 坝段上游面弧长一般为24米,河床部位有四个坝段的坝体内埋设有压力引水钢管,直径7.5米。左右两岸设有重力墩。右重力墩以右设有三孔开敞式溢洪道。 第7~10坝段通过厂坝连接段,后接发电厂房,总装机容量128万瓩。单机容量32万瓩。 泄水建筑物分四层布置,计有底孔、深孔、中孔和溢洪道。
