今年暑期我省中等学校的招生工作,由于贯彻了中央人民政府教育部及高等教育部「关于一九五四年全国中等学校招生工作的指示」;由于各级党委和政府的重视,因而进一步改进与加强了招生的宣传教育与组织工作。在上半年广泛深入的劳动宣传教育和升学就业指导等思想教育基础上,我省中等学校招生工作自六月二十五日开始,经过一个半月的紧张工作,于八月十日全部结束,顺利地完成了全省招生任务。这就保证了国家教育事业计划的实现,进一步满足了人民群众的文化要求。兹将招生工作的基本情况与主要问题报告如下:(一)今年中央分配我省的招生任务:工农速成中学六○○人;建筑、采矿、机器制造、钢铁工业、国防工业、铁路技术等八个工业技术学校一、九七五人;农作物、植物保护、畜牧、林业等四个农业技术学校二四○人;医士、护士、助产士等四个卫生技术学校四六○
