Sapir-Wolf’s hypothesis is one of the most important theories developed in structuralism in the United States in the 20th century. Its core content is thinking of the relationship between language and culture, language and thinking. The controversy about this hypothesis has always existed and all parties hold different views, but eventually reached a certain consensus. This article will first sort out the formation and development of the Sapir-Wolfe hypothesis, and then provide support for the hypothesis based on the similarities and differences between the grammar and vocabulary of the three languages of China, Japan and South Korea.
