自上世纪九十年代以来，激光照排技术被应用到新闻出版印刷领域，报纸的出版环节告别了铅与火，走向光与电，大大提高了工作效率；九十年代中后期，计算机技术的飞速发展，采编网络的建立，使出版工作又有了新的飞跃，出版工作的变革、出版流程的提速成为可能。就校对环节来说，如果前者可以称之为照排校对的话，那么后者则可命名为网络校对。网络校对作为一个新生事物，其工作流程尚在探索中，本文拟就此作一简要探讨。
