教育学生的方法,是宽柔好还是刚强好,理论探讨、学校教育实践及部分家长大都赞成宽容,倾向于柔和。但笔者则觉得还是刚柔结合、宽严相济好。传统教育过于注重约束、惩罚、管教这种被动的、违背自然人性的育人方法,显得威严过重,刚强过甚;现代教育更多的注重宽容、激励、沟通等顺应自然人性的育人方法,往往又变得宽容有余,迁就过多,部分教师和一些学校甚至变宽容为放纵、民主为无视、平等为不管。矫枉不能过正,且莫从一个极端走向另一个极端,必须刚柔结合、宽严相济。学校军训总让人思考,教官给教师留下了启示。教官训练时严肃、严责,休息时宽容、轻松。刚柔相济、奖罚并用、苦乐兼融,既扩充了学生的人性体验,又有利于身心的磨砺,常给学生留下难忘的印象。启迪教师莫忘严格要求、认真严责,莫忘仁慈宽厚、放松无束,育人方法要灵活多样,不可误入某一极端。有句话说得好,无刚则不能自立,无柔
