为了创造鸭梨低产变高产,隔年结果变为连年高产的样板,以科学技术的实际效果示范群众,研究解决若干理论和应用技术问题,河北省农业科学院果树研究所和石家庄果树研究所合作,于1958年三月派出工作组在晋县河头村人民公社河头村生产大队建立了基点。几年来,在当地党政领导的支持下,依靠广大群众进行了一系列的工作。取得了一定成绩,在河北省的中南部树起了一面梨果连年高产的旗帜。
