The construction materials industry is an important raw material industrial sector that provides building materials, non-metallic mineral products and inorganic non-metallic new materials and products for the national economy. It has many industries, many varieties, many companies, and a wide range of services. Its products are both production materials and living materials. They are not only the material basis for capital construction projects, but also an indispensable basic material for the development of modern industries and for the renewal of new technologies. The speed and level of development of the building materials industry have a major impact on the development of the national economy, improving the living conditions of the urban and rural residents and the overall situation of the four modernization projects. In celebrating the thirty-fifth anniversary of the birth of the People’s Republic of China, we reviewed history, affirmed our achievements, and made clear directions.
