从公共艺术语义内涵转换谈当代公共艺术的价值取向

在提出“前公共艺术”这一概念的基础上,本文从话语权力、社会功能、文化性格等三个方面简要讨论了“公共艺术”语义内涵的历时性转换,最终提出,“以人为本”是当代公共艺术的基本价值取向。从这个角度看,“强化公众福利”而非单纯的改善公共空间视觉环境,已然成为当代公共艺术的重心所在。

Based on the concept of “public art before”, this paper briefly discusses the diachronic transformation of the semantic meaning of “public art” from the aspects of discourse power, social function and cultural personality. Finally, “People-oriented” is the basic value orientation of contemporary public art. From this point of view, “strengthening public welfare” instead of simply improving the visual environment of public space has become the focus of contemporary public art.
