康咏(1864～1916),原名逢庆,字心馀,又字步崖,号漫斋。生于清同治元年(1862)(另载生于同治三年),福建长汀县人。父亲怀熺公,生父虚谷公(名讳惟幾)。他自幼聪敏好学,少年得志。19岁考中秀才,光绪八年(1882)中壬午科举人,年仅21岁。25岁赴京拜宝竹坡侍郎为师,学习诗文。后三年,与宝竹坡长子伯茀遨游塞外,所到之处,无不赋诗题壁。次年南返,应聘于广东潮阳
