While entering the field of market economy in our country, marine undertakings are also striving for rapid development. In order to speed up the development of marine resources, the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province recently approved the establishment of a township-level administrative office in the middle of Haizhou Bay and the first three islands in Lianyungang. There are three natural villages in Pingdao, Dashan and Chebei Beaches. The former three islands are composed of 12 islands and reefs with an island area of 0.32km ~ 2 and over 3000 km2 under the jurisdiction of the sea area, becoming the island town with the smallest land area in China. The former Mishima is close to the high seas and is 47.2-64km away from the port of Lianyungang. The area is warm in the south with beautiful scenery and pleasant climate.
