人们早已知道随年龄增长,基础代谢率逐渐降低,但这种变化是由于机能细胞群反射活动的减少,还是继发于甲状腺素介导的热耗降低尚不能肯定。据估计,人体广泛存在的Na~+—K~+—ATP酶对细胞产热起了50%的作用。因此,必须考虑到这个酶系统和年龄增长有关的代谢改变有联系。以前虽有报道动物产热组织中,Na~+—K~+—ATP酶的水平随增龄而降低,但尚无关于老年人这个酶系统研究的报告。本文作者对健康老年人红细胞膜Na~+—K~+—ATP酶活性作了研究。
It has long been known that as the age increases, the basal metabolic rate gradually decreases, but this change is due to the decrease of the reflex activity of functional cell groups or to the hypothesis that thyroxine-mediated heat loss is reduced. It is estimated that the body’s widespread Na ~ + -K ~ + -ATP enzyme has a 50% effect on cell heat production. Therefore, we must take into account the enzyme system and age-related metabolic changes are linked. Although it has been reported previously that the level of Na ~ + -K ~ + -ATPase decreases with age in animal heat-producing tissues, there is no report about the enzyme system in the elderly. The author of healthy elderly erythrocyte membrane Na ~ + -K ~ + -ATPase activity was studied.
