Almost a year has passed since InterAccess announced the first commercial Internet access service based on digital subscriber line (DSL) technology in North America and hopes it will be a ghost under yesterday’s feat. The idea was so simple that the ability of InterAccess to send quick access was perceived using asymmetric DSL (ADSL) and a copper telephone line rented from a telephone company. Today, a year later, InterAccess is at ease and has signed a contract with a new equipment distributor, Paradyne, to expand its range of ADSL-based services.
